Whoops... I Might’ve Emailed the IRS
The story of how I accidentally launched my newsletter into the wrong inboxes
So... confession time.
I started a new newsletter called Leader Unlock and imported what I thought was my old contact list from previous blogs and newsletters.
Turns out... I imported the wrong contact list!
As in, every single person I’ve emailed from my personal inbox in the last ten years!
Mortified doesn’t even begin to describe it.
We’re talking everyone.
Teachers. Pastors. Coworkers. Recruiters.
Bill companies. Car dealerships. College admissions offices.
The IRS (pretty sure they already know too much about me).
I’ve cleaned up the list the best I can, but if this newsletter doesn’t resonate with you, please feel totally free to unsubscribe… no hard feelings whatsoever.
For those who decide to stick around... here’s what Leader Unlock is really about:
It’s a space for those carrying weight on their shoulders.
leaders, parents, pastors, executives.
the people quietly holding families, teams, and communities together while wondering if anyone sees the load they bear.
After 30 years in tech leadership and 20 years of pastoring, my heart is to help people lead with clarity, live in rhythm, and leave a legacy.
So if that sounds like something that speaks to you...
you’re in the right place.
Welcome (accidentally or not) to Leader Unlock.
And to everyone else… my sincerest apologies for the inbox ambush.
At least now we both have a story to tell.
Much Love,
Chris
