This is timely for me because my last post includes a time where I felt sidelined. When I was at what I thought to be peak, I was cast aside and told I wasn’t committed to the mission of my employer. Ouch. Writing about it helped me to forgive.
Thank you, Doug. I really appreciate it… Yeah, it actually helped me this week during a difficulty. Isn’t it funny how sometimes we’re writing for ourselves
Write one sentence naming where you felt sidelined: at a job where I poured blood sweat and tears but aged out. Felt like trash but also knew I had 25 yrs of bonuses and outstanding performance reviews/ and all of my success stories. No one could take that away. And I had skills that’s what saved me. Well God saved me by having develop those skills that’s how I see it Chris.
Choose one act of forgiveness to practice: honestly when we stay God focused it doesn’t matter. We ask him to show us the way and he will. He knows his mission and how to best serve him. That is the honor to member maybe it is not about you at all. But about saving someone else. Trust in God and let him lead the way.
