Hope for the Weary
A friend recently shared how exhausted and worn down they felt. As we talked, I was reminded of Moses… and how, during the battle with the Amalekites, Aaron and Hur stood beside him and held up his arms when he couldn’t do it himself.
I told my friend, “I can’t fix this for you… but I can stand beside you until your strength returns. And believe Jesus will see you through.”
That moment reminded me of a picture I took in Yellowstone mam summers ago. A section of the forest had been ravaged by fire, yet right in the middle of the ash… new life was springing up and the wildlife started to return to the area.
Maybe that’s you right now — burned out, tired, trying to hold it together.
If so, I want you to know this: hope still grows in the places that feel destroyed.
Galatians 6:9 reminds us, “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up.”
If you’re tired, lean on those around you. Let someone help hold up your arms.
Because even when you feel empty… God is still writing renewal into your story.
Much love friends,
Chris
